Trust & transparency

For Janus to be useful, it has to be trustworthy.

The career data you give Janus is some of the most personal information you have. Here's what we promise, what we've built to back it up, and what we're still working toward.

The commitments

Three lines we hold to.

i.

Private by default.

Your career data is yours. Nothing is public unless you ship the portfolio link. We don't sell data. We share it only with the providers required to run the product — cloud hosting, payment processing, transactional email, and the AI models that power Janus — and never to train public models.

ii.

Honest about the AI.

Janus makes mistakes. We say so. We don't claim general intelligence, perfect market insight, or guaranteed outcomes — and we surface confidence and source provenance where it matters. The model decisions you can change are tunable. The ones you can't, we document.

iii.

Yours to take with you.

Your portfolio, your career memory, your route — all exportable. If you leave, you take everything that matters with you. The portability is the point.

Your controls

Built so that leaving costs nothing.

The fastest way to know a product respects you is to check how easy it is to walk away with everything you put in.

Export everything

Download your portfolio any time, and pull a full machine-readable copy of your account data from Settings whenever you want.

Granular share scope

Decide which artifacts are public, which sit behind a private link, and which never leave your account.

Delete, fully

Deletion is real. We retain only what payments processors and legal compliance require, then it goes too.

Audit what AI saw

Every Janus action is logged for your review — what context Janus had, what Janus suggested, what you accepted.
